About

I grew up in Halifax where I still spend my winters. All vacations and long weekends were spent on Prince Edward Island. My Island roots run deep with my Dad from Morell, my mother from Little Pond and her mother from St Peters. I am fortunate enough to experience the best of both Halifax city life and St Peter’s Harbour rural life.

My paintings reflect the everyday scenes familiar to me from beach walks, cycling the Confederation Trail, canoeing in St Peter’s Bay, golfing Crowbush,  or travelling to visit our daughters. I love the ever changing colours and drama of the sea and the sky, and the fields and forests.
I am an emerging and self taught artist, and was able to advance my learning by taking various workshops and courses.
My husband John Flinn, is an enthusiastic participant in this art journey, expanding his woodworking skills and demonstrating his attention to detail with the wonderful custom frames you see supporting each piece.

My work is in homes across Canada and  from the UK to the United States to South Africa.

I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy sharing it.
